Peterborough City Council has worked with community partners to set up places across the city that offer food and support. Many also offer essentials and social activities. Everyone who is struggling is welcome, regardless of your age or circumstances.

A CRF Community Partner is a place where residents who are struggling with the cost of living can go for help and support. They are located in familiar community spaces across the city for easy access.
Examples of support the hubs may provide include:
- Food banks offering food parcels
- Cafes offering meals – either free or on a ‘pay what you can’ basis
- Essential items such as nappies or sanitary products
- Advice on claiming benefits, obtaining furniture or household goods, or how you can get help with your energy bills
- Support applying for the Crisis Resilience Cash Payment Scheme
Each partner has its own offer and its own assessment criteria. You will need to read each hub’s individual webpage or contact them directly to find out their specific offer. Find details of the CRF Community Partners on the Peterborough Information Network site.
Support with Crisis Payment Scheme
This scheme is intended to provide one-off assistance to people facing a sudden and unexpected financial crisis. It is not intended to support people with day-day living costs or provide long term support.
Some CRF Community Partners offer in person support with Crisis Payment Scheme applications. Staff and volunteers can help you understand the Crisis Payment Scheme and support you to complete an application if needed. They may also be able to help in other ways, such as providing advice, signposting to services, or offering practical support. Find out which partners are involved and how to contact them.

Many of the hubs offer free coffee and tea, and some have biscuits or other food to eat there. Some hubs offer free food/food parcels.
