Paston Farm Centre community fridge is available to everyone. Anyone can come and take some food, choosing what they want. You need to bring carrier bags as they are unable to supply. The Food Basket is a community fridge operating in the Orton, East, and First Steps Child & Family Centres. They offer local fresh food to the community, reducing food waste and tackling food insecurity. Phone 07751 645 513, Email [email protected], or see their Facebook page.

If you live or work within a 15 minutes radius of the Woodfield Park Community Centre you can join Family Action’s Food On Our Doorstep (FOOD) Club for £1 a year and purchase a pre-ordered bag of food every week worth approximately £15 for just £3.50. St Peter’s Food Bank
St. Peter’s work in partnership with Yaxley Parish Council, local schools and other voluntary and statutory organisations in the wider Peterborough area to help meet the local need. Thorney Eye and Surrounding Areas Food Bank
This is a completely community run Food Hub based in Thorney. They aim to provide parcels that will support feeding the family for a week, as well as hygiene products. They do not require any referrals but do ask that if you require a parcel please email [email protected] by 6pm on a Friday for collection on Saturday morning.

 

St Luke’s Food Hub
The Food Hub offers a hot drink and friendly chat, plus a parcel with a range of non-perishable food and hygiene essentials, with signposting to other support if needed. It runs out of St Luke’s Church in Orton Malborne but is open to all. Fridays 11:30 – 1pm. Email  [email protected]

 

Little Miracles
Little Miracles supports families that have children with additional needs, disabilities and life limiting conditions. They can provide and where needed deliver weekly food parcels for any families that have a child with a disability. NCP and its volunteers will help provide a welcoming environment for those who come to collect food. They will provide refreshments and an opportunity to chat, access the internet, printing and photocopying, and signposting to Life Money, Global Café and Life Tots.

Peterborough Homeless Helpers
Provision of food, clothing, toiletries and other essentials to rough sleepers, the homeless and those transitioning into accommodation. Contact them on their Facebook page or email [email protected]

Peterborough Soup Kitchen is a local charity for homeless and disadvantaged people from in and around the city.
