Peterborough Foodbank offer food parcels to those who are unable to afford food, based on a voucher system. If you need support from Peterborough Foodbank, email their foodbank they can look at  your situation and put you in touch with a relevant local agency. If you already have a Foodbank voucher, you can find a list of their local centres and opening times here.

If you are in a crisis situation, please call the FREE National Citizens Advice Line 0808 2082138 (open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm). In addition to be being able to issue foodbank vouchers, they can provide information and advice on welfare benefits and debt issues. Find out more on their website.

Food Cycle’s mission is to nourish communities using surplus food. They welcome anyone to attend as a guest and enjoy a FREE hot meal. No need to book, just turn up on the day and enjoy company and conversation with others from your local area over a delicious meal, prepared with care by FoodCycle volunteers. Westraven Community Fridge
Westraven Community Café’s community fridge can be accessed from 8am to 3pm, Monday to Friday. This source of fruit, vegetables, and other fresh food is available for the community to take for free, a great resource for those on low-incomes to access healthy food easily. The Food Basket is a community fridge operating in the Orton, East, and First Steps Child & Family Centres. They offer local fresh food to the community, reducing food waste and tackling food insecurity. Open between 2:00pm-4:00pm:

Family Action’s Peterborough Food Club is an accessible and friendly service based in Welland. It provides affordable food every week for anyone living in Peterborough. They also offer support and signposting to other agencies and opportunities to volunteer and to attend events at their friendly and welcoming Community Centre. There is a small cost. Little Miracles supports families that have children with additional needs, disabilities and life limiting conditions. They have a good pantry which operates out of The Goldhay Centre, Orton Goldhay, and they also deliver food parcels to those in need every Thursday. These contains fresh food & perishable foods.
