The Garden House offers information, advice and support to the rough sleepers in Peterborough.
Guests can receive much-needed support from housing officers, GPs, drug and alcohol specialists, chiropodist, hairdressers and other professionals.
People in the darkest of places are given hope and made to feel valued and supported during some of the biggest challenges they will ever face.
‘The gentleness and the openness and the sophistication of the approach, the thoughtfulness of the approach, would certainly put the Garden House right up at the top of the list for good models for this kind of work.’ Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby (April 2019)
The Light Project, which runs the Garden House, is taking part in Tempo Time Credits for volunteers. Find out more here.
