The Food Basket aims to reduce good, healthy food from ending up in the landfill. These are taking place in the later afternoon to evening so that people working during the day can attend.
The community fridge is open to all, although they do ask that minors are accompanied by an adult where possible. There is no need to provide personal details or be in receipt of benefits to access this free service. Please bring your own bag.
Open between 2:30pm-4:30pm:

- Wednesday – East Child & Family Centre, PE1 5JU
- Thursday – First Steps Child & Family Centre, PE1 4TR
On Wednesdays there is Extra Helpings, with drop in health & wellbeing support which can include Healthy You, LEAP (energy advice), and Open Door (debt and money management help); plus Covid Vaccinators. Contact Katy to find out more.
