Peterborough Youth Voice Champions

Back to Activities

Youth Voice Champions are young people from Peterborough aged 11-19 years who want to be involved in youth voice and skills development opportunities in Peterborough.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • You can get involved in local youth community activities that interest you
  • You can meet and socialise with other young people
  • You can make a difference!

Youth Champions don’t meet regularly, instead they get notified about current youth voice and skills development opportunities locally.

It is open to ages 11-19 (up to 25 for young people with SEND).

As a Youth Voice Champion you will:

  • Get access to social action, volunteering, and youth voice events
  • Have the chance to get your voice heard on issues that matter to you
  • Get access to opportunities where you can develop your skills, chosen by you!
  • Get access to youth voice activity days and trips
  • Support local and national youth voice campaigns
  • Receive regular newsletter bulletins that inform and update you on youth voice opportunities- sign up to as much or as little as you like
  • Be reward for your time

If you’re a young person from Peterborough and want to be added to the regular mailing list, please get in touch!

It is free to be part of the Youth Champions.

The programme is taking part in Tempo Time Credits for volunteers. Find out more here.
