Peterborough Youth Hub

Back to Support

The Peterborough Youth Hub is a dedicated space for young people aged 16–24 to access the support they need to move into education, training, or employment. The Hub brings services together in one place, from careers advice and skills training to mental health support.

Meet Dean from the Peterborough Youth Hub:

What to expect

Whether you’re looking for your first job, exploring career options, or need help getting back on track, the Youth Hub is here for you.

What’s on offer:

  • 1-to-1 support with experienced advisors
  • CV and interview workshops
  • Employer engagement events and work experience opportunities
  • Access to training and apprenticeships
  • Mental health support
  • Help with housing and tenancy
  • Money management advice
  • A welcoming space to build confidence and plan your future

You don’t have to even talk to anyone if you’re not ready, you can access laptops and the internet, play board games, or sit with a soft drink and look over the field.

You can make an appointment by emailing [email protected] or just drop in.

Matt from CPSL Mind will also be on hand to help young people develop personalised action plans to improve their mental health and reduce barriers that may be preventing entry to work or further education. These sessions are on a 1:1 basis and support will last for up to four one-hour sessions. You are able to bring a carer, parent, guest, or social prescriber into the sessions. If you want to talk to Matt, you can also just drop in, or you can email him at [email protected] to make an appointment. You can also ask a parent, GP, or other professional to refer you by emailing him if you prefer.

If you don’t want to meet 1-to-1 with an advisor at first, they have an AI tool called Create Your Own Future that can help you identify your skills and goals. It creates a plan that you can use in conversations with advisors if you choose.

The Hub brings together a multi-agency partnership, including the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority, Peterborough United Foundation, CPSL Mind, and Jobcentre Plus, working alongside local employers and community organisations. This collaborative approach ensures that every young person receives tailored guidance, practical tools, and access to career pathways that match their goals.

More information

See the photos and video for where to park and how to find the Hub.

The Hub is in the Weston Homes / Peterborough United Stadium. If you drive there, the car park is the gravel lot to the right of the stadium, and you must go to the main reception desk to register your car's reg plates so you don't get a fine (if you park anywhere else, you will get a fine too).

To find the entrance to the Hub, follow the road around past the Allia Business Centre and all the way to the end to the last gate (Gate 23). There is a small security kiosk where you can ask the guard where the Youth Hub entrance is, or go around to the left; enter the building under the sign that says 'Executive Box, Club 75 Entrance'. Go upstairs and keep going through to a reception desk, where someone will let you know where to go.

This service is free. It is funded as part of the Government’s Youth Guarantee Trailblazers Scheme with the support of the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority (CPCA). It is being led and hosted by Peterborough United Foundation, in partnership with CPSL Mind,  JobCentre Plus, and the Department of Work and Pensions.
