Supporting New Dads - CPSL Mind

Back to Support

CPSL Mind supports new dads age 18 and over who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health challenges or are struggling to adapt to parenthood.

What to expect

Being a dad can be one of life’s greatest joys – but it isn’t always easy. Whether you’re navigating sleepless nights with a newborn, supporting a teenager through big changes, or anywhere in between, fatherhood comes with its ups and downs. Stress, uncertainty, and even feelings of isolation are more common than many dads realise – and not always talked about.

CPSL Mind's new Dads Matter Group in Peterborough is designed especially for dads, offering a safe and friendly space to share experiences, support each other, and know you’re not alone.

The group is every Thursday, 6-8pm (starting from 25 September 2025) and is open to dads with children of any age. You can join the group at any point. If you’d like to find out more or join the group, email [email protected].
