If you are struggling with your mental health during your partner’s pregnancy or after giving birth, then you can self-refer to this service, which includes:
- Dads Matter An informal eight week course for dads who are experiencing mental health challenges, feeling socially isolated or struggling to adapt to becoming a parent. These courses take place face-to-face in Peterborough and Cambridge.
- Peer Support Groups Monthly online meet-ups for dads via Zoom.
If you aren’t comfortable self-referring, you can ask a health professional to refer you instead (a GP, health visitor or midwife).
There is also support for new mums that are struggling with their mental health from CPSL Mind – find out more here.
This support is free.
