We all know that smoking is bad for our health (not to mention bank balance) but giving up is another matter. If you’ve tried stopping or always thought it would be too hard, then the Stop Smoking Service is for you. People who get help to stop are five times more likely to stop for good due to the support and encouragement you would get from your own stop smoking advisor.
In an initial meeting, they will talk with you about why you smoke and why you want to stop, as well as any attempts you’ve made to stop in the past. They will discuss different treatment options that you may choose to use, and help you draw up a plan. Over the following weeks and months they will make regular contact with you, to help you stay on track.

This service is free. If you would like to sign up for this service, complete the sign-up form on this webpage (click on the blue 'Make a referral' button, even though the referral is for yourself) or call and speak to one of the team on 01733 917432.
The Greater Peterborough Network (GPN) is funded and commissioned by Peterborough City Council to provide healthy lifestyle support to people living in Peterborough. To find out about the other services they offer visit the GPN website.
