The Angels Foundation UK

Back to Support

The Angels Foundation UK is a registered charity supporting families who have fled domestic abuse throughout Cambridgeshire & Peterborough. They provide families with furniture, flooring, home comforts and social introductions to the community, with their 'Back to Life' support.

The support they provide is:

  • Signposting individuals in need of support to qualified professionals specialising in domestic abuse;
  • 'Back to Life' support to families who have fled domestic abuse by sourcing items for the home, such as white goods, flooring and furniture etc. when required;
  • Social activities for emotional wellbeing and peer support, such as coffee mornings and weekly support groups;
  • 'Listening ear' mental health support, counselling and group therapy.

Back to Life Support

For this support, they only accept referrals from statutory organisations and other specialist DA agencies.

When survivors move into a new home after fleeing abuse, they are often met with empty spaces, no flooring, furniture, or appliances. Back to Life Support provides essential items such as beds, sofas, white goods, and flooring*, helping families create a comfortable and secure living space. Without these basic necessities, many survivors are at risk of returning to their perpetrators due to financial insecurity. A furnished home gives them the foundation to start again with confidence. (*Subject to availability)

Signposting advice is free.

Back to Life support is funded - only available via professional referral.

Counselling sessions are available at reduced cost (means-tested).

Some social activities have a cost, these are shown on the events page.
