What to expect
Peterborough Women’s Aid offer:
- An Advice Line for short-term support for women and men
- B United – male victim support
- The Dahlia Project – supporting South Asian women (with multilingual workers)
- A Lithuanian domestic abuse and sexual violence Community Engagement Worker
- Support for children and young people
These streams of help offer:
- Emotional support
- Practical support
- Support attending court and other meetings
- Counselling with a specialist Domestic Violence (DV) counsellor
- My Life 12 week group course via Zoom
Additionally, PWA offer advice and guidance to professionals.

Anne’s House in Peterborough opened in January 2024. It is a safe space for women to get support, have fun and make friends. It is a warm and welcoming space with an internet cafe, library, shop, prayer room and conference centre where they hold activities such as crafting. Opening times and more info are in this webpage.
