Living Keys provides free courses for those who have been through domestic abuse. They also run a women's drop in service providing support to all women, with CV writing, arts and crafts days, referrals to other agencies for specialised help and support, workshops and more.

What to expect

Living Keys provides a range of support for those who have been through domestic abuse:

Freedom Programme and Hope Recovery
Free courses about domestic abuse, which help women see it is not their fault and what they can do. These courses bring many out from isolation, where they talk of their experiences without judgement. It is a safe place to share and make friends with others.

Cherished Support Group Coffee Morning for Women
Every Monday from 09:30am – 12pm at Kingsgate Community Church, Murray Room, Peterborough PE1 4YT.

Domestic abuse recovery toolkit
A 12 week programme which is CBT-based and offers you a chance to discover the skills for recovery following domestic abuse. With this set of tools, you work on building self esteem and confidence, as well as challenging negative and traumatic thinking.

Drop in services
General services and support: constructing CVs, emotional support, housing advice, support to complete all sorts of forms e.g. universal credit, ESA, housing forms, support to open a new bank accounts, support to apply for ID, and more. Or just relax and unwind with a cuppa! Women can come any time between 13:00 – 17:30pm on Mondays, no appointment needed, but ring Living Keys to get the location. Staff will be there to welcome you. Toilets are available in building, and it’s on the ground floor with wheelchair access. Free car parking.

Living Keys also provide 1-1 support via appointments which also include attending court with victim, attending meetings with beneficiary.

They also provide an internet cafe for women so that they can carry out online work.

Those who wish to sign up for courses can do so on via an online application form on the Living Keys website. You can sign up at any time.

Support and services are free.

Some events have a fee to raise funds to cover costs for support. Each event will specify amounts.
