Careers Clubs – CKH

Back to Support

CKH Careers Clubs in Peterborough can help you to learn the skills you need to get into work, whether you are looking to get your first job, move to a new role, return to work after a long time or get back into work after redundancy.

Dean explains what Careers Clubs have to offer:

CKH Careers Clubs are run by Cross Keys Homes (CKH) but are free and open to everyone, not just CKH residents.

They are held in-person at three venues in Peterborough:

  • Hampton Library, Clayburn Road
  • Orton Library, Bushfield
  • Westwood Community Hub

Visit this website to find current days and times.

What to expect

Careers Clubs aim to help you with employability skills so you can get into (or back into) work. Attending a Careers Club can help with:

  • job searches
  • CV writing
  • cover letters
  • interview preparation
  • gaining confidence and motivation
  • looking at realistic goals and how you can achieve them

Places are limited and must be booked in advance.

To book your space, complete the form on this webpage or call 01733 396404 to find out more about Careers Clubs or book your place.

If you already have CV written, bring that along. A notepad and pen would be useful for making notes.
