Cambridge Women’s Resources Centre (CWRC) – Peterborough, is a safe woman only space in Peterborough where women can come to access support and break isolation. They aim to support the health and wellbeing of women in Peterborough. This includes women caught up in the criminal justice system, to help them create pathways and choices away from offending.
CWRC Peterborough has a free clothes shop, tea and coffee, access to the internet and other resources, all in their warm and welcoming newly refurbished space. They offer free groups, drop-ins and one-to-one support. Their timetable will be shaped by the women who use the centre so join them and check back on their website to see the latest information.
Every Thursday, their Thrive coffee morning supports the health and wellbeing of women in Peterborough, including those in the criminal justice system, with health services, housing advice, form-filling, and breaking isolation.
Women can drop in any time the centre is open, self-refer or be referred by any agency. You can contact the Centre directly to arrange an initial introductory one to one with a CWRC Peterborough Support Worker.
