Youth Dreams Project Ltd Sports Camps

Back to Activities

Through sport, Youth Dreams can build self-esteem, give young people an outlet, encourage positive life choices and help them to be happy and succeed in life. The team will introduce children to a variety of different sports, encouraging them to try them all.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • children are provided with enriched experiences in a safe environment;
  • children are encouraged to stay active, with activities to help build confidence and friendships, and ensure that they go home feeling motivated;
  • children are emboldened to try new things – this not only can improve brain functions, but also create a tremendous amount of satisfaction for the child and a sense of accomplishment. Mental health is as important to the team as physical health, so they will work on both of these with children.

“YDP is a fantastic organisation. The camps they put on during the school holidays for kids are brilliant, and they do some amazing work in the city of Peterborough. Keep up the excellent work!” – Parent

What to expect

The Youth Dreams Project (YDP) wants to inspire, motivate and enthuse the young people they meet through fun sessions that leave a lasting impression. They aim to put a smile on every child’s face that attends their camps. Children love the YDP camps, whether learning sports or making friends.

At the sessions, the YDP registration team will be there to welcome children every day of the camps.

More information

You can book your child onto camp sessions months ahead or the day before, YDP are flexible. Go to their Half Term Camps page here to see when and where sessions take place, fill in your information and book sessions you want, and make payment.
