Yoga United – Peterborough United Foundation

Back to Activities

These yoga sessions for men and women age 18+ offer a multitude of benefits, including improved flexibility, strength, and posture, along with stress reduction and enhanced mental clarity. Peterborough United Foundation is the charity arm of the Peterborough United Football Club.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • It gives people of all abilities the chance to engage with physical activities in a fun way
  • It gives the opportunity to create new friends
  • It is a chance to focus and engage with positive and supportive staff who are there to help and listen

Through its combination of physical movement, breathwork, and meditation, yoga promotes relaxation, boosts mood, and supports better sleep. It also fosters balance, coordination, and self-awareness, while aiding in weight management and increasing mindfulness. This holistic practice not only enhances physical health but also contributes to mental well-being.
