Wellbeing Garden – CKH

Volunteer at or just spend time in this Wellbeing Garden in Peterborough. You can help with all manner of tasks, from weeding and planting to some bigger building projects. You don't need any gardening knowledge or experience.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • you will meet other people;
  • you can enjoy time in nature for your mental and physical health;
  • you can learn new skills.

What to expect

The Wellbeing Garden is run by Cross Keys Homes (CKH), but is open to everyone, not just CKH residents. It is currently open every Wednesday 1pm-3pm and every Thursday 1.30pm.- 3.30pm.

You can help with all manner of tasks, from weeding and planting to some bigger building projects such as making bedding or other structures. You don’t need any gardening knowledge or experience.

The Garden is in the process of being made more accessible, but there is still some rough ground. There is a toilet on site. Sensible, weather appropriate, clothes and shoes for outside work should be worn.
