We Love Peterborough is a digital independent business using social media and a website to promote the positive things about Peterborough: the love of its history, its architecture, its people creating businesses, and events going on in Peterborough. Founder Susan Broccoli has lived most of her life here, and after living elsewhere for a few years and coming back, created We Love Peterborough in 2014 to help everyone feel good about the things right under our noses!
The website has a directory of places to eat, places to visit, and things to do around the city. It also has a blog here showing people the activities or events that Susan attends. This is so anyone who is not able to attend can still get to share in something lovely.
The free weekly newsletter tells everyone what’s on for the week ahead for both paid and free events around the city, from your local community centre fete or car boot sale to the annual Great Eastern Run or Christmas Lights Switch-On. You can sign up to receive the newsletter here. Also, if you have an event you know about, why not share it with We Love Peterborough?

Every year, We Love Peterborough has a photographic competition, with the winners filling the 13 spaces of an annual calendar (and each winner receives a free copy). This competition entices you to get off the sofa, to get out in the fresh air and go visit your favourite places to take photos. It’s open to everyone using any device whether it’s a DSLR camera or your phone camera. The calendar with the winning photos is then sold online and gets posted as far as Poland, the USA, Australia and New Zealand. Find out more, including how to enter, here.

We Love Peterborough has created a Peterborough Discount card so you can make savings with small or independent businesses around the city and surrounding areas.
