Thorney Play Area is situated in the centre of Thorney, set back from Wisbech Road. This beautiful park has a range of children's playground equipment, seating, an outdoor gym and a large grass area suitable for sports and games.

Thorney Play Park is situated in the centre of Thorney Village. It is set off the main road and is popular with local people and sports clubs. The park has a variety of facilities such as a children’s play area, table tennis tables and an outdoor gym. There are plenty of tables for enjoying a picnic with friends and family.
The park is popular with local dog walkers.
There is some free parking on Wisbech Road, or the field is accessible by Tavistock Close, but please be mindful of residents’ parking.
The park is a short walk or drive from the Bedford Hall and also the Thorney Museum.
There are no public toilets. There is a shop a few minutes walk from the Park, as well as a local café called “Tea at 18” which sells a range of refreshments.
