What to expect
Meet new people, learn new skills! These are relaxed sessions with a group of men making stuff, whether you have some or no skills in upcycling furniture. All the kit and support is provided and there is a stash of great pieces waiting to be transformed and donated to families in need. Or you can just enjoy the tea and banter!
Please get in touch before you attend your first session, and you'll need to sign in each week: phone 01733 396404 or email [email protected]
Sessions are 3 hours, but you can come for all or part of the session. Staff are at each session.
Men Together, Making Stuff is run by Cross Keys Homes, but you don't need to be one of their residents to join in, this group is open to all men, age 18 and older.
More information
Carers are welcome and can participate (staff would have to check with participants if it was a female carer; there is a female member of staff attending each session, so it's unlikely to be a problem).
There's plenty of parking in the car park. There are two toilets, plus a disabled toilet. There are no steps and the room is on the ground floor.
Free tea, coffee and cake or biscuits are provided at each session. Equipment is provided, and they recommend clothes you would be happy to spoil.

All completely free!
