A weekly drop-in Coffee Club (with cake!) where anyone with mental health challenges can meet with others who understand, to share in gentle conversation over a cuppa in a safe and beautiful environment. Volunteers are very welcome.
This activity is good for wellbeing because
- It provides a reason to get out once a week
- It can reduce a sense of isolation and loneliness
- Connecting with others who understand and sharing coping strategies can enhance personal resilience
‘Apart my monthly sessions with my psychotherapist this is the best thing I do for my well-being: it really helps to talk to others here who face similar challenges.’
