Creative Crafts workshops are designed to be a fortnightly session of three hours each time, where people can get stuck into a particular craft. These session are held at The Tenter Hill Hub.
This activity is good for wellbeing because
- Creativity can be great for boosting your confidence
- Joining in with a craft session can result in you forgetting your troubles whilst you do it
- Sometimes it’s easier to socialise and chat with others while working on something

The Hub at Tenter Hill is a community hub for Stanground and wider areas, holding events and activities for people of all ages. Their Community Café is open Monday – Friday, you are welcome to pop in to enjoy a coffee and a cake. Well-behaved doggies are welcome. Please check their Facebook page or website for opening times.
The Hub at Tenter Hill is open to ideas so if you have anything that would like to see on at the Hub then please let them know.
Occasionally there will be free taster sessions put on at the Community Centre which will be free to attend.
Individuals are asked to pay a specific amount per person to cover materials used in the sessions and also to support the tutor. Everything that is needed for the session is provided.
