Creative Crafts for Kids runs from The Tenter Hill Hub. These fortnightly sessions run on a Saturday for children of primary school age to try different crafts which brings diversity into their experience.
This activity is good for wellbeing because
- Children experience something which they may not have tried to do before this session, so new skills are involved
- Children are supported to socialise by learning how to co-operate and share
- It can be beneficial for children’s’ skills to be stretched, and will give them increased confidence in their own abilities
