Care Network offers a flexible approach to volunteering. They have a variety of roles to suit the interest, skills and time you have available.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • it gives people a feel-good “buzz” from helping and supporting others
  • it gives something positive to do with free time
  • you can learn and develop new skills and confidence

What to expect?

You can call or email Care Network for an informal chat about the opportunities on offer.

They will chat to you about what your skills and interests might be, what your abilities are, what time you may be able to give and will answer any questions you may have. Care Network can work flexibly with you to help find a role that is right for you.

If after the call you feel that volunteering is right for you then they will support you to join the team.

Care Network offer’s supervision and ongoing support to all of their volunteers and volunteer voices are used to help inform develop Care Network services.

This is an inclusive activity for all adults over the age of 18.

Care Network are a local charity with over 30 years of experience in supporting local residents when they need it most.

Whether you have a lot or a little time to offer, there will be something to suit you with Care Network.

They have a variety of roles which involve practical support and meeting face to face, supporting people outside the home, research and signposting, telephone support and minor handyman jobs. If this sounds like a team you would like to be part of, please contact Tina for more information.
