What to expect
CPY Connect Peterborough Youth arrange activities based on what young people who attend them want to do! Examples include tennis, arts and crafts, films, and more.
Sessions take place once or twice a month. In good weather, they meet outdoors in local parks. During colder weather, sessions are held in community centres, depending on venue availability.
There is no need to register or book in advance. All information about upcoming sessions is shared on their Facebook page.
Everyone is welcome. If you are feeling nervous before attending for the first time, you are welcome to contact them by email or Facebook Messenger, and they will be happy to answer any questions.
Their sessions are suitable for everyone aged 11 - 16, and no previous experience or special skills are needed.
Sessions usually last between one and two hours. Participants are free to leave at any time if they need to.
More information
The activities take place on weekdays (after school and holidays), evenings, and weekends. Information about venues, parking and travel is shared on their Facebook page before each session.
Participants should wear comfortable clothing suitable for the activity and weather. If an outdoor session is cancelled due to bad weather, they will notify everyone via Facebook.
Their regular youth sessions are free to attend. Occasionally, they organise additional trips or activities (such as ice skating or cinema visits), where participants pay for their own tickets.
Parents, carers and support workers are welcome to accompany young people if needed. They are welcome to stay and watch during the session. There is no charge for carers or support workers attending regular sessions in a supporting role. However, for ticketed activities, anyone taking part will need to purchase their own ticket where required by the venue.
The activity leaders speak Lithuanian as well as English, and can help attendees improve their Lithuanian skills if desired, but activities are open to everyone.

Most CPY Connect Peterborough Youth activities are free.

For some additional trips or events, participants purchase their own tickets directly from the venue. Details are shared on their Facebook page in advance.
